How To Wash A Banarasi Saree At Home

Banarasi Saree Cleaning Tips: Banarasi sarees are delicate and require special care.

Banarasi Saree:-

#1. Prepare soap solution: If tea, coffee or food stains have got on your Banarasi, then immediately dissolve liquid soap in a mug and dip it in the stained area.

#2. Use shampoo: If there are stains, then without waiting for them to dry, make a solution of shampoo and clean it immediately. There is no need to wet the entire saree.

# 3. Use cold water only: Never wash Banarasi sarees in hot or lukewarm water.  That’s why always wash with cold water.

#4. Do not clean with a brush: No matter how deep the stain is on the Banarasi saree, never try to clean it with the help of a brush.

#5. Do not wash in the washing machine: Do not put your Banarasi saree in the washing machine even by mistake.

# 6. Do not store without cleaning: Whenever you wear a Banarsi saree, keep in mind that if there is sweat etc. in it, do not store it without cleaning it. By doing this, insects or rats can bite in it.
